Remove Patrol Logs For All Departments

When part of a department, you're supposed to fill out a log after every time you patrol. I think that this is an unnecessary step, that could be removed to help increase activity, and make life easier for those that serve as part of a department. Having us fill out a patrol log, I understand it makes it more realistic, but at the same time, what good does it do? I think that is these were removed, it would make people more active, because they wouldn't have to worry about keeping up with everything that they do, while on duty.
